German leader Adolf Hitler today issued Directive Number 4. The directive covers instructions for the continuation and conclusion of the war in Poland.
The directive includes the announcement that a future German occupation government has not yet been finalised, that german troops and the Luftwaffe should now focus on eliminating Polish resistance forces, that the flow of refugees west wards would be stopped, except for those of German nationality, and that attacks should begin on French naval and air forces, French merchant ships in convoy, and all troopships, along with attacks upon any French sea mines laid off the French coast.
In other news, French artillery has targeted Siegfried Line defences.
